The Open Confidential Computing Conference (short: OC3) is the world's premier event on confidential computing. It gathers security experts and decision makers from industry-leading companies for the premier confidential computing event hybrid from Berlin on March 19th, 2026. All sessions will fall into one of the following five main topics: Ecosystem & Foundations, AI, Apps & Solutions, and Attestation.
Submission guidelines
All papers must be original and not under consideration by another conference. Submissions should include an abstract of at least 350 characters. We may contact authors via email for clarifications if this would assist the Program Committee in reviewing the submission.
Papers not focused on confidential computing will not be considered, even if they address similar or alternative privacy-preserving technologies. Submissions covering basic concepts, such as "What is confidential computing," will also not be accepted.
Authors and language
Each submission must have at least one speaker and a maximum of five speakers. All submissions must be in English. Authors should declare any conflicts of interest. Program Committee members will abstain from reviewing submissions from employees of their own company.
Evaluation criteria
Submissions will be reviewed based on originality, technical quality, clarity, and relevance for business cases.
Speaker participation
Speakers can participate either on-site or online. The chosen mode of participation will not influence the acceptance or rejection of a submission. The submission form will ask for a preferred format, but only the form sent after acceptance will be decisive for on-site or online participation. Changes in speakers after submission are strongly discouraged, even if technically possible.
Submission confirmation
Please ensure you receive a confirmation of your submission. If you do not, kindly resubmit, as your original submission may not have been received.
Deadline and decisions
The submission deadline is December 12th at 12:00 AM CET (3:00 PM PST). Submissions received after this time will not be accepted, except in exceptional cases approved in advance. Decisions on acceptance or rejection will be communicated between mid and late January.
Travel and accommodation
Please note that we do not provide travel or accommodation. In exceptional cases, we may be able to offer support or partial subsidies.
